UQÀM Strategic Chair in Perinatal Mental Health and Family Well-Being

On January 24, 2023, the Board of Directors of UQÀM’s Strategic Chairs announced that Dr. Catherine Herba was the recipient of the Research Chair in Perinatal Mental Health and Family Well-Being.

This award confirms Dr. Catherine Herba’s leadership role and research excellence. Her work will focus on identifying risk and protective factors for mental health disorders during the perinatal period, using an intersectoral, longitudinal approach. She also hopes to shed light on the factors that predict the evolution of symptoms related to mental health disorders in women undergoing perinatal psychiatric care, during the transition to parenthood.
